Chris Acquavella & Lauren Scott (harp), performing at Trinity Laban Conservatory of Music and Dance, London.

Join us for a special evening to celebrate renowned mandolin player Alison Stephens on Monday 23 March 2020.

Alison Stephens was the leading exponent of the classical mandolin in the UK. She was the first graduate of mandolin from the former Trinity College of Music, was our Professor of Mandolin for many years and was awarded a posthumous Honorary Fellowship of Trinity Laban ten years ago.

Alumni Lauren Scott (harp) who is Alison’s former duo partner and Chris Acquavella (mandolin), a former student of Alison’s, will present a wonderful programme of mandolin and harp duets including contemporary music and other repertoire.

We will also be joined by student Harold Gordon Smith (guitar) who won this year’s Alison Stephens Competition.

Please join us for the concert at 19.00 followed by a drinks reception at 20.30.
