Mandolin and harpsichord / forte piano offer a wonderfully broad “Early Music” sound scape perfect for concert halls, churches, house concerts and library concert series. Chris Acquavella and Ruben Valenzuela have been working together for the last couple of years, creating a well-balanced and exciting concert program of Early Music repertoire. Some of classical music’s most famous composers have written for mandolin and keyboard, ranging from baroque to early classical periods. Chris’ repertoire includes pieces by Beethoven, Hummel, Vivaldi, Scarlatti, Gervasio and Leone, just to name a few. A custom program can be created to fit your venue and concert series. Solo performances by each artist can also be included in this program option.
